  • Do I own the rights to my images?

  • How long do you store my images?
    We guarantee that we will keep your images on our server for at least six months, though we frequently keep them archived for longer periods of time.
  • How do I make payment?
    All payments can be made through a provided Venmo, CashApp, or Square Link following scheduling.
  • Do photographers travel outside of city limits?
    Our team is happy to travel outside of the city. Please contact us with specific details so that we can best fulfill your needs. DH Photography covers the first 25 miles of distance to render services. Mileage rate of $0.70 / mi after 25 miles will be charged to cover travel and time.
  • Do you have a rainy day contingency?
    While our photographers can shoot on cloudy days, we cannot use equipment in the rain. Our team will replace cloudy skies with blue skies for interior and exterior photos. However, if the weather becomes extreme or hazardous, we will reschedule at a time that is convenient for you.
  • What happens if I must cancel or reschedule an appointment?
    Please let us know as soon as possible if any scheduling conflicts arise. We understand last minute changes happen. With a 48 hour lead time, re-scheduling should not be an issue. If you must cancel a shoot, within less than 24 hours, a small cancellation fee of $40 will be issued to compensate our photographer.
  • Do you offer expedited services?
    We understand that certain situations require immediate attention. Do not hesitate to ask if we can schedule a last minute shoot and return images as soon as possible. We are prepared to go above and beyond to fulfill unexpected needs.
  • How long does the photo shoot take?
    For residential properties, the whole process should take around an hour but more time may be needed for larger homes (over 4,000 square feet) or for add-on services such as 3D tours and drone photography. Commercial properties average 2-4 hours, depending on the type of package ordered.
  • What do I have to do to prepare the property?

  • Do I have to be at the property the entire time?
    We are fully self-sufficient and don’t require client attendance, but you are more than welcome to be involved in the process as much as you’d like. Just make sure to provide us with any information needed to access the property.
  • What format / image type do you provide?
    Images are delivered in .jpg format, both high resolution and resized for MLS (residential properties). Please let us know if you require a different format or size for your images.
  • How do I choose the photographs?
    Before the shoot, if you desire any specific angles, please don’t hesitate to let us know. If you are on-site during the process, our photographers would be more than happy to accommodate any specific angles you prefer. After the pictures are adjusted and corrected through our rigorous post process, our experienced team of editors will ensure that you receive the best images highlighting the property, as well as any angles that were requested.
  • How do I receive my images?
    You will receive a link to download the photos as a .zip file. Be sure to uncompress the .zip file before viewing the photos. If you prefer an alternative delivery method, let us know!
  • What is your turnaround time?
    We work diligently to make sure we can deliver final images by next day. Matterport virtual tours are provided in under 48 hours. Cinematic videos range from 2 - 5 days depending on the production goals.
  • How many photographs will I receive?
    This is based on the package you choose! For smaller spaces, we recommend the 20 image residential package, for large or feature-filled homes, we recommend the 40 image residential plus package, and for all vacation rentals, we service 45+ images complete with wide-angle and detail shots. All packages include 5 aerial images. (More available upon request!)
  • What are your office hours?
    We are open 7 days a week from 9am-6pm CST. If you have an urgent need outside of regular hours, please text us at 737-202-6642 and we will do our best to address it as soon as possible!
  • How soon can I schedule?
    We can typically get you scheduled within 1-3 business days. If you have a more urgent need, call us at 512-987-8516
  • How do I book a photo shoot?
